Mahogany Empire sofa - "Cornucopia II"
A full-size reproduction Neo-Classical Empire Sofa with traditional hand-carved lion’s paws and full cornucopia back rail. After refinishing the Mahogany, we chose to composed this piece in a complementary brown-toned, hand-rubbed Full Grain leather cow hide. An all new interior includes an 8-way hand-tied spring bed of 12" heavy-gage steel coils providing superior seat comfort. We finished the sofa in bright copper dome head nails that create eye catching emphasis to the sofa’s handsome lines, as well as true copper leaf gilding to accentuate hand-carved details. This piece makes a bold statement of art and tradition, and is reminiscent of our original Cornucopia Sofa pictured on the homepage header.
