MAHOGANY "HEART" chair
This solid Mahogany lady's parlor chair is an early 20th Century reproduction brought back to life for another century of useful beauty. The dark, warm brown tones come through in the aged Mahogany, so we chose a deep, rich Mahogany-toned hand-rubbed Full Grain leather to compliment, then contrasted antique brass dome nails to bring it all together. Feminine French curves and carvings balance with the masculine tones to make this chair work under a secretary desk as well as in a foyer, parlor or bedroom. Eight-way hand-tied steel coils provide the balanced comfort underneath the durable leather that adorns the seat. The original front leg oak casters have also been restored. The cushioned back, reminiscent of a heart, adds to the chair's overall comfort and appeal. This chair measures 21”w x 22”d x 42”h, and weighs approximately 15 lbs.
