Mahogany Sheraton Chair
Absolutely gorgeous 1931 Sheraton arm chair, constructed of solid mahogany and fully restored in a natural varnish. This beautiful example of the Sheraton style features delicately turned fluted urns supporting gently curved, rounded arms. Legs are joined with an “I” pattern stretcher, and the lumbar stringer features detailed hand-carving. To match the glowing warmth and richness of the natural wood grains, the seat and back are covered in deep burgundy top grain cow hide, and finished with aged brass studs. A classic and timeless style, this piece will be the topic of conversation in any room.
Chair measures 23”x26”x35”, and weighs approximately 20 lbs.
