louis xv mahogany Salon chair
A fully restored Louis XV style Mahogany salon chair. The vintage frame was completely rejoined, structurally enhanced for modern use, and fully refinished with six layers of varnish. The seat features all new materials within, is 8-way hand-tied, and is covered in Top Grain Cognac leather over real wool. The leather was hand rubbed in the “sauvage” technique, expressing multiple warm hues from every angle, and is creamy to the touch. Perfect seating for a writing desk, small table, or perhaps for playing your Stradivarius? Sturdy, handsome and comfortable. Yours for a song.
