"odessa" oval back chair
A solid Mahogany lady's parlor chair. Early 20th Century reproduction brought back to life for another century of useful beauty. With the clear varnish bringing out dark oranges in the aged Mahogany, we chose a walnut full grain leather for contrast and copper-topped gunmetal dome nails to bring it all together. Feminine French curves balance with the masculine tones to make this chair work under a secretary desk as well as in a foyer, parlor or bedroom. Eight way hand-tied steel coils provide the comfort underneath the durable leather that adorns the seat. The oval back rear is leather clad as well. This chair measures 24”w x 24”d x 38”h, and weighs approximately 20 lbs.
