This 40’s era Phyfe-style reproduction adds a turn-of-the-century touch to any room. A classic parlor sofa, constructed in a solid oak frame with solid hardwoods that are perfectly fluted on all facings and legs. Carefully refinished with 8 layers of stain and varnish, wood surfaces glow as richly as the soft olive Italian leather upholstering. The seating has been restored with all new interior materials, hand-tied coil springs in a bench seat style, and is exquisitely covered with no seams front or back. Brass claw feet and matching brass upholstering studs add to the turn-of-the-century feel of this piece.
